Mathorn cables are first and foremost an accessory that gives fast and stable data transfer between camera and computer. Each product prototype was subjected to multiple laboratory and practical tests during photo shoots, using cameras from leading manufacturers and the most popular tethering applications. 

This resulted in USB cables that ensure uninterrupted and efficient operation on set, even during intensive use.

The Mathorn cables and plugs are made of lightweight PVC plastic with increased flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. As a result, they are not only more durable than conventional USB cables with similar parameters but also more comfortable to use. The special cushioning of the USB-C connector prevents it from breaking and at the same time reduces the risk of damaging the socket in the camera.

When working in a dark photographic studio, the color of the cable is not only a matter of aesthetics, but also safety. For this reason, the Mathorn MTC cables are available in two distinct tones.

Blue shade that we named ArcticBlue is characterized by very good visibility in low light and against a white background. The other one is called Magenta, and its special shade stimulates creativity while making the cable easily visible in all studio environments.

Despite the high visibility, both cables do not reflect on the subjects being photographed, and at the same time shade does not distract people being photographed.
