Mathorn MPMA
USB adapters with built-in meter

Mathorn MPMA (Mathorn Power Meter Adapter) is a series of compact USB adapters that combine fast data transfer capabilities with the ability to monitor charging and power parameters of devices, while also serving as practical adapters between USB-A and USB-C connectors. Depending on the version of the adapter, it measures voltage, current, and power, as well as indicates the active Power Delivery mode. This allows users to easily monitor the charging and power process for devices using USB-A and USB-C ports.
Fast data transfer
The MPMA series adapters are ideal for situations where fast transfer of large files is essential – from photos and videos to projects requiring exceptionally high bandwidth – while also needing power parameter monitoring. They can also be used for monitoring the charging and operation of USB ports without limiting data transfer speeds when needed. This practical solution is perfect for those who want to combine high transfer speed with the ability to measure voltage, current, and power in real-time.
The MPMA-10AC60, MPMA-10CA60, and MPMA-10AA60 models, equipped with at least one USB Type-A connector, offer data transfer up to 10 Gb/s with USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard and a power transfer limit of up to 60 W. The MPMA-40CC140 model, with two USB Type-C connectors, operates in the USB 4.0 standard, providing data transfer up to 40 Gb/s and power transfer up to 140 W in PD 3.1 mode. It also supports 8K/60Hz video transmission in DP Alt Mode 2.0.

Clear LED display
The MPMA adapters are equipped with a blue LED segment display, which clearly presents the monitored power parameters. This allows the user to quickly verify whether, for example, the battery charging process is proceeding correctly and whether the Power Delivery standard has been activated.
Indispensable at work and in everyday life
The MPMA series is perfect for both everyday home use and technical or service environments. These practical tools are designed to monitor the load on USB ports when charging power banks, laptops, or smartphones. The adapters allow you to easily assess the charging speed when the power source’s efficiency is unknown – for example, in a car, airplane, or hotel – making them especially useful for frequent travelers.

Practical features and ease of use
- Device charging control
With the built-in meter, you can quickly check the power at which your phone, tablet, or laptop is charging, and verify whether the charger is working according to its specifications.
- Verification of cable quality and Power Delivery support
The adapter allows you to check if the USB cable has an e-marker chip and supports Power Delivery mode above 60 W – ensuring that you are making full use of your equipment’s capabilities. This helps you diagnose situations where your laptop is charging too slowly – for example, when the cable limits the charger’s power to 60 W, even though the device requires 80 W or more.
- USB connector type change
The MPMA-10AC60 and MPMA-10CA60 adapters can function as a practical USB A↔C or C↔A adapter. This allows you to easily connect a USB-A cable to a device with a USB-C port – or vice versa. This simple solution eliminates the connector incompatibility issue and allows you to use your existing cables without needing to purchase new ones.
- Easier USB-C cable connection
The adapter allows you to “move” the USB-C port away from the device’s housing, solving the problem when a thicker cable plug doesn’t fit in the socket and additional space is needed to connect. Thanks to its exceptionally slim casing, the MPMA adapters work even in very tight spaces where other adapters fail. This is especially useful for phones and tablets protected by cases or covers – as their walls often restrict access to the USB-C port. With the adapter, you can use the device’s protection without sacrificing cable connection convenience.

Practical application
- Marcin, a professional photographer who often works on location, uses the USB meter to check if and how quickly he can charge his laptop from a USB socket in his car.
- Alicja, a vlogger, checks before her session whether her power bank will be able to power her LED panel while recording her videos outdoors.
- Robert, a photographer, uses the Mathorn meter to check if his camera batteries are near full charge when the charging power drops to a minimum. This helps him save time and battery life by avoiding overheating and overcharging.
- Laura, who uses wireless headphones, knows if her device is actually charging thanks to the Mathorn meter.
