The adapter features a built-in SMART controller, known from the Mathorn MB-V99 battery, which supports the most popular fast charging protocols, including: PD 3.0, QC 2.0/3.0/4.0, AFC, FCP, and SCP. This guarantees high compatibility with most devices powered by USB-C – from smartphones and laptops to cameras and monitors. Depending on usage, the same controller also manages the operation of the V-mount battery with D-TAP, protecting it from overcharging or excessive discharge. The user receives feedback via an LED indicator that shows the device’s operating status, battery charge level, and the connection of the adapter to a USB power source.
